HELPPPP...want to transfer stuff from PC

FYI...I am NOT a geek, not even a geekette...so I need human instructions!!!
I want to transfer my favorites, outlook contacts and other files from my PC to my tablet. I tried to do it through a sync program, but I don't think that worked. I also cannot use a memory thingy since the input to the Streak is a large size (??)? How the HECK do I transfer stuff so I can actually FIND it on the tablet???

Download Dropbox on your tablet and desktop .....its free, then create a folder called ( desktop to tablet) and drag what you want from the desktop to the dropbox icon and it will appear on your tablet too.

If you have Windows 7 this is easy using MTP.

Take the "wide" end, plug it into the tablet, then take the other end, which is a USB port, and plug it into the computer and it will recognize it and create a couple drives for it. This will be then visible in "My Computer"
