Accelerometer issues?

My s7 slim gets stuck all the time in portrait or landscape. I have to reset the device to get it back to normal where it will switch back and forth based on how you rotate it. Anyone else having this problem? Or is my unit perhaps defective? Thanks

i got the same problem. it gets stuck like 20% of the time when i put it in standbymode and start it on again. bought mine from bestbuy.

Check your settings to make sure that auto-rotate is checked, it needs to be set after a cold start. I have also found that it responds to a shake similar to the iPod.
