Does anybody know how to modify the Toshiba Thrive Tablet to see Ad-Hoc networks? I've been reading there is ways to do it with other tablets but I can't find anything about the Thrive.

I also can't find any information on USB tethering if I can't get WiFi tethering to work. All the USB tethering seems to be for PCs and not Tablets. Thanks!

Yes I know. If I had a Droid X it would work for me too. It seems like newer phones like the Droid Incredible will work because they use Infrustructure to transmit in Wifi. Because I have the original Droid A855 it transmits in Ad-Hoc which the Toshiba Thrive can't see. So, from what I have read I have to either get a newer phone that supports Infrastructure or run a patch on the tablet that will let it see the Ad-Hoc networks. I see the patches for other tabs, but I can't find it for the Thrive. That's what I need help with. Thanks!

Worked for me with my Droid X running GB and my new Thrive...
