Can't download from Android Market on Viewsonic Gtablet

When I attemp to download app from android market to Gtablet, I get message saying I don't have a phone or android device. The message varies a bit, but the gist is the same.

Try the workaround that Fuganater posted here.... It worked on my Gtab, just not as well as I'd hoped.
