CM client has stopped working

A message popped up on my tablet saying, "unfortunately your CM client has stopped working." I have no idea what that means. What is my CM client and do I need it to be working?

Sheryl,

CMClient is one of the processes for OTA firmware updates.

To fix this, open Settings - Apps - All - CMClient - Clear Data.

Reboot (hold the power button for 10-12 seconds until the screen goes blank)

Then it should stop nagging you.

Thank you. Not only did I learn something about the cm client, I learned how to reboot. I probably read it some place but didn't remember how to do it.
