I think when you start in a recovery mode or a diff mode, the next reboot is always a normal boot. Correct me if im wrong.

@Ken, I've used skype for voice chat. No video chat yet for skype, fring works but only with our back cam, fring is hopefully close to a fix. Not sure about slingplayer.
