Screen completely black - how do I recover it so I can see it?

Hi, can anyone help me please? Got an NATPC M010S, did "long click", selected 'Widgets', tapped the Brightness control once and the whole thing went black, now it's on but I can't see anything so I can't get it back. Any advice gratefully received, thanks.

use adb to clear the data which should set it to default brightness.

"adb shell wipe data", "adb reboot"
