I know its possible to take screen shots but how? I need to take a pic of the "about" screen. How do I do it?

fastest way is to use your phone camera. Otherwise, do you have adb working? there are several tools that can do via ADB, finally if you search the market there are several different apps there, but not all work for all tablets.

stock 2.1 Firmware, There is a PrtSc button on top of your screen.

other 3245 Firmware, There is a camera button on top of your screen.

on latest Froyo Firmware, There is a camera button on top of your screen.

or on old firmware.
