Security Package for A13 MID 7"

I have just bought my first tablet and would appreciate any recommendations as to which free security package (like Microsoft Security Essentials for a PC) would best guard against importing infected apps.

AVG is a good basic AV.

I use Lookout on mine, but another popular one is AVG Antivirus Free.

Thanks CombatGerbil, I appreciate your reply. I've installed Lookout, but I'm thinking of buying another cheap tablet and it would be good to try AVG on that and see how they compare.
