Hi,

I'm looking to buy an Android tablet. I have a HTC Desire Z, and really like it, so naturally lean towards another android for my Pad! I'm not looking to spend a great deal initially, because I may end up never using it, as is the risk with my must have gadgets...

I've seen a few I like the look of

Ainol Novo 7 "Elf"
Cube U9GT2
Herotab S1

They all have pro's and con's which I'll have to consider, but I'm struggling to find any UK sellers for these? Can anyone suggest somewhere? I don't like the idea of buying from China as I've had very lengthy waits for some other things in the past when I tried that!

I personally used linitx.com to buy a zenithink c91 tablet. Would recommend them although they aren't really tablet specialists. I have read good things about gadgetfreakz.co.uk - their customer support seems very good.

Ipadalternative.com looks good too but I cannot find any info on them.

I am looking at the Onda vi 40 from gadgetfreakz although stock levels seem to be low at the moment due to the Chinese New Year.

Reni,

I hope you managed to find a retailer for the tablet you wanted. Please let us know how you got on :)

Digitech on ebay... fantastic seller, uk too.

Dell,

Do you get any kind of manufacturers warranty when buying through Ebay or have you got to purchase that on top of the price of the tablet? And what are they like if you have any queries / issues?

I'm looking into possibly going down the Ebay route as I'm not having much luck finding a supplier in UK for 7 inch Zenithink C71 or 10 inch Zenithink C91 (leaning towards getting the C91 tbh :)) Hoping to be able to buy 2 of which ever I do decide to go for.
