The directions with my MID EKEN 256M indicate that I can connect tablet with USB cable. Do I need to use a backup USB cable, or is a straight cable OK? I do not want to brick the tablet.
the cable alone will not brick your android tablet. the question is what connection do you need. i know that in order to update the firmware for my zt-180 i had to get a cable with a mini-B plug to connect to the OTG connection on the tablet and a usb connection for the pc.
