S7 vs Nook?

I'm looking to buy a tablet for mainly reading pdfs and some web surfing. I'm not afraid to root or do any hacking, but I'm looking to save money. I've done some research and it seems like the two best candidates are the Huawei s7 or the Nook Color. How can I decide between these two?

It seems like the Nook Color has a better screen and would be better for reading. Also, I don't need the s7's 3g/phone capabilities, but like the fact that it has a camera, but it is $50 more expensive.

the S7's camera is pretty dire to be honest. I've owned both and for what you've listed the nook color will serve you better.
