One of the key new features in the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the multi-window multi-tasking. This feature allows Note 2 users to simultaneously use two different apps on their device at the same time.

However, the recently released U.S variants of the Galaxy Note 2 from T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T lack this feature out of the box. Since, this is a software feature, it is bound to be available to all the U.S variants of the Note 2 down the line via a software update.

Today, Sprint became the first operator to offer this software update to its brand new Note 2 users. Along with multi-window multi-tasking, the update also brings a bunch of other bug-fixes and minor enhancements including GPS improvements and SMS notification improvements.

The update is being rolled out via OTA by Sprint and most users will be automatically notified once the update hits their phone.
