    Open up the browser, on the top right corner of the screen click on Settings,
    click on Privacy & Security, & under Cookies it'll say Accept cookies, put a ☑

    I have done this but when I try to sign in to google it keeps telling me that I have not done so

    Are you using the stock browser?
    Have you set Two Step Authentication on your google account?

    Can you open up Google Talk (I believe it comes on the A500).
