Something like this will do it: Amazon.com: AmazonBasics High-Speed Mini-HDMI to HDMI Cable with Ethernet (6.5 Feet/2 Meters): Electronics

I use one that is a different company and a bit longer, works great. It mirrors everything right onto the TV.

EDIT: I should add, that in order for this to work, your HDTV needs an HDMI port (most do)

It'd dead easy! Just get the HDMI cable, hook it to the TV and switch the TV to that input and it's up and running.

For what purpose?

If you're planning as an extended or dual screen, like what they said, get an HDMI Adaptor.
