Acer Tablet A501 Error on start-up

Each time I start-up up my Acer A501 tablet the following error occurs:

"android.process.acore" has stopped unexpectedly.

Any ideas please on what the problem is and how to overcome it?

I've seen an error like that on my mothers tablet (non acer). Often a kernal issue. Best to factory reset and if it persists it needs the os reflashed. Usually happens only with a full shut down and restart. Seems to be a delay in the system files at start not being correct.
