    Emails stuck in outbox

    My built-in email app stopped sending out messages and just leaves them in the outbox. I have to use the Yahoo internet site to get the job done. According to reviews in Play Store, the updated version of the Yahoo email app isn't any better. My Gmail app is working fine, so far. What's going on?

    I would double and triple check the smtp settings and the type of security required. Or delete the account and add it again.

    I changed the outgoing security type setting to None from SSL/TLS, which in turn switched Port from 465 to 587, based on info from previous threads. However, my messages keep piling up in the Outbox. Is there anything else I should try re SMTP settings before deleting the account? Thanks for the help so far. And, Happy Easter.

    You can try port 25 but I have my doubts.

    As per your other suggestion, I removed the account and added it again and the emails are getting out once more. Thanks for the advice.
