BLESS you my dear chap! Long overdue, especially for those of us who are looking to buy. I know it can be really taxing on you, but if only there is one more line under each chipset heading like say:
Effective: mm/dd/yyyy.; Price Range $ xxx - XXX; SELLERS - ABCD; EFGH: etc Perhaps this can be updated by the Sellers themselves to reduce your workload. Just imagine just this section would have saved me hundreds of hours to get these facts! Thank you and keep it up! Vijay

The problem with getting prices is that it's largely affected by shipping costs.

If you know exactly what you are looking for, you can look up prices on Ebay.

Chinese users should look on http://taobao.com for reliable listings

It's difficult to pin down pricing per tablet, especially on this page.

But right now the two reference prices from the 2 most popular generic tablets on the market

    In USD, estimates only
    EKEN M001 - $80
    Apad iRobot - $120

    Then brand name:
    Augen Gentouch - $150
    Archos 7 Home Tablet - $200
    Huawei S7 - $400

    Hi xaueious!
    Thank you for great job!
I have two questions. First: why you didn't mention nvidia tegra 1 and coming soon 2? And second, please explain your method of comparing performance.

I don't know enough about Tegra 1 and 2 right now. They haven't made it into any products yet that's for sure.

As for performance, some of them have the same application core types (ie: ARM1176). So it's a rough estimate based on clockspeeds (which I hope are at least close to actual figures). I do think I get pretty close.

But how you compare different type of processors, for example, how you recognized that TI OMAP 3530 more powerful than Telechips TCC8902 and ZT180?
