Samsung Shows Off 'Youm' Flexible Display Prototypes at Their CES Keynote

After unveiling their exciting new Exynos 5 eight-core chip at their CES Keynote this morning, Samsung is now sharing their other cool new tech breakthrough, "Youm." In case you didn't already know, Youm is their new flexible OLED display technology. They are also calling these their, "Green LCDs." So far, they have only showed off the prototype, but no device with the tech implemented yet. They are demoing several examples of the application of this new tech, including a device that folds open to become larger, and another device that unfurls.

That's it for now, so it looks like it could still be a while before we see an actual device with the tech. As always we will keep you informed as soon as we hear anything new.
