[Speculation] Is Archos Outsourcing Production for the Archos 7 Home Tablet?

I have been making RK2808a ROMs and noticed that within framework-res.apk, in addition to the Archos bootlogo, there are also pictures for 清华同方 (Webpage ????), which is a company known to be involved with making Rockchip RK2808a platform.

The files are located in /assets/images and is arranged to be a replaceable bootscreen sequence.

It doesn't make any sense for the firmware to include images from another company, unless Archos copied the firmware and modified it, or outsourced the firmware production for the Archos 7 Home Tablet.

Just a curious bit of info for everyone.

    Here's one of them:

You don't have to decompile the file to see this.

This company is located in Beijing (Google Maps: 中国北京海淀区同方广场清华同方科技大厦A座100083 - Google Maps)

The ROM was downloaded directly from Archos: http://www.archos.com/support/suppor...try=ca&lang=en
I used RK2808 AFPTOOL to unpack update.img, and extracted framework-res.apk after mounting the cramfs system.img.

I have uploaded the original framework-res.apk is here:

I noticed that, too, had no idea what it meant, though.
