    Coby Mid 7024 just got in the mail

    Just got my Coby Mid7024 tablet. Been playing around with it and I really like it.
    Is there anything special I need to do or download or missing out, cause I dont have a clue..

    These models are still relatively new. From what I've read, the developers are still trying to work them out as far as rooting and superuser permissions. It will probably be some time before we start seeing updates, etc. In the mean time, tell us, what are your impressions of the model?

    i was wondering if the live wallpapers i saw on the Mid 7015 can be somehow used on the 7024?? mines on the way by mail cant wait for it

    I don't know what live wallpapers were on the 7015, but the 7024 has live wallpapers and they match all the ones on my daughter's DroidX phone. Is there one in particular you want?

    There are several available on the market, plus pre-installed ones. I'd just go ahead and try them out. I don't think you will hurt your tablet.

    Redgrave, the live wallpaper you describe is already on the 7024. I think the same live wallpapers are on all Android tablets. I believe that running the live wallpapers may use up battery power giving you less running time...if that matters to you. Have fun with your new tablet! I know I am...

    I run the leave in water live wallpaper and get 6-7 hours running time total. I do shut the tablet down when not used.
