Calibration Touch Panel Failed

I bought my daughter a Craig Tablet CMP138B for Christmas and I cant get the calibration mapping to work. We follow the instruction on the screen that tells us to click on the center of the plus that shows up on the screen. On the last step it says to click on the android in the center of the screen. As soon as I do I get a error that says Calibration Touch Panel Failed - please try again or return to main. screen. What can I do to fix this. I've reset the tablet and I even reset the table back to the factor settings. Any help would be great.

I'm still unable to get this tablet to calibrate correctly. If anyone has any suggestion please let me know.

I don't have a solution. Just want to let you know that people actually do read these posts*. I have pondered your description of the problem, but I have no idea what causes it or how to fix it. You may have to return it or exchange it.
