How to say it - Huawei pronunciation

In case anyone was wondering, I have validated both with Huawei North America, and with a friend that speaks Han.

It is pronounced "Wa - way"

Mandarin is the standard way to say it. I think they just gave up on getting people to pronounce properly

    Heh heh ... I've been pronouncing it Hoo-a-way ... or Hoo-way ...

It was fun attempting to ask for it over the phone at Best Buy!

    Huawei pronunciation

What's the correct way to pronounce "Huawei"?

    Is it who-way or how-way?
