From what I can see, latest OC kernels are not so good in passing 3000 score limit.
Anyway, when I will find some kernel to keep my NC stable at 1,3+ Ghz, then I will check if I can go beyond my previous score.

Even being in the 2500s is really impressive if you think about it.

It may just be the specific build of some Nooks..I guess you and I got good ones..Latest Nightly, Latest Dal Kernel....consistently over 3K....

Instead of trying to get the best score possible, I just do a couple of Quandrant passes after I install the latest build, with the Nook allowed to load all the stuff it normally does, CPU set to ondemand and with Nook Tweaks peaking peformance at 1300.

Generally, I see Quandrant scores in the 2700 range, but with Build 129, the performance jump has been significant. My first three runs of Quadrant were all over 3000.

Most folks seem to do a fresh boot, stop applications, clear up memory, set the CPU to Performance, etc. I don't bother. In general there are about 30 background apps, I don't boot then run the tests immediately, I don't tweak the Nook for better results.

I could increase the CPU speed, clear out running apps, set CPU to performance, etc., and I wouldget higher numbers. I don't see the value of that in evaluating the builds for day to day use.

Fyi, I got this result without clearing anything from background tasks and with my standard governor of ondemand.never saw any difference with Perfomance.
Fresh boot is always essential though.
And this was my 2nd run.no better results if I try more.

The capabilites of the Nook's processor have certainly been answered both in benchmarking and real world use. To be consistently getting around 3000 with the latest ROMs is impressive. Not bad for a $250 e-reader particularly considering when it debued there were very few dual core chips in use outside of the prototype teaser tablets.

I have been playing with another bench called Antutu, which is available at Market.
Has also online ranking.
Best score for me was 2916 at 1200 MHz.At higher speed, program closes.
