Question Which tablet is best for note taking

    Greetings:
I'm in the search of a tablet that I can use to take notes in conferences. I've been checking out some of them but I don't seem to find the right one for my needs. It caught my attention the ASUS EA-800 which seems to what I want. But, there is small problem, this particular tablet ships only from Taiwan and Iím not willing to risk buying something that Iím not able to return in case of malfunction. The other one I looked up was the ViewSonic but Iím not sure if it has handwriting recognition.
My big question is which tablet is the best for note taking? Do they all have handwriting recognition? Since prices are dropping I would like to spend $400 or less because Iím not interested in games, videos, 3g features etc. The main function will be note taking and book reading.

ASUS provides international warranty. Not sure if it covers the EEE Note. Prices are not dropping on Wacom enabled tablets.

    Append:

I don't think the note does any form of handwriting recognition. You have to move to a Windows 7 tablet for that functionality.

Nothing on Android has that functionality. The Flyer might have it, but I don't know how that is going to work. Android does not recognize handwritten notes natively, where as this functionality is built into Windows since XP Tablet PC Edition.
