My biggest complaint on the M701-R is battery life.
Hopefully they've seen to that too.

It says "2000 * 2 mAh / 7.4V Li-ion battery" which I'm guessing is how they're saying it is a "twin core" 2000 mAh? The M701-R is listed as having a "twin core 1600 mAh" battery, so it would seem to be slightly higher capacity but I'm betting this new tablet consumes more juice too so it's probably going to be about the same usage time.

That leads me to believe that higher capacity batteries might be out there that could be usable as upgrades to give us longer running time

The newer 7" Samsung PV210 models are quite nice.

    Cortex-A8,1Ghz cpu, 512M ram (also a 256M model),2GB FLASH,,3000mAh battery

    197x125x14.5mm,515grams

    7" 800x480 resolution.

    camera, hdmi, tf card slot..

They look a lot like a large iphone.

M7 is the better of the two models available right now, other is the dropad (less ram).

The M7 gets about 4 -5 hrs battery, longer if only using for mp3, less if playing video (about 3hrs on video).

Some photos here Hands on 7 Inch Samsung PV210 Screen HaiPad M7 that runs on Android 2.2 with 1GHz CPU and Cortex-A8 (video)

Nice little machines, although still a bit $$ here in China. (1500rmb! for the 7")

This is a new platform, so firmware stability is on a different level. It looks okay if you ask me.
They had to make this an iPhone look-alike though -_-...

Capacitive AND resistive version actually. Not sure if the capacitive is shipping at all...

Edit: I guess it is available...

Guangzhou has better markets though. Note to self, fly down and find more suppliers..

w00t... have you noticed what the going price is in sz? I'll be in Gz early next month and hope to pick one, or something anyway, when I'm there. If not that then maybe a 10" class tablet.
