    Exclamation Samsung Tab Wireless Tether

I'm going to use my rooted droid with wireless tether to connect to my new Verizon Samsung Tab. This would essentially allow me to get free 3G on the tab. The problem is the tab does not pick up the "androidtether" signal. It doesn't show up on the wireless networks list.

I'm perplexed by this because I have done this several times with my laptop and it works perfectly. Any ideas or solutions? Thanks for your help!

hey, yes this has been a problem that has been rectified by cm6 and shadow if you run these roms they can pick up the android tether. i had this problem using a d1 just for development trying to connect to my live d1 and when cm came out with their last rom they changed the wpa supplicant, you feel like reading the link on xda Android Ad-hoc support hack/wpa_supplicant - xda-developers it can be done.
