Disgo 7900 Root & Recovery mode

    Hi,

I just bought a second hand Disgo 7900 which seems to be similar to the Superpad 2 http://www.android-tablet-comparison...er2&t2=dis7900
I updated it to Gingerbread 2.3.3 from their software.

    Code:
    Modell: disgo7900
    Android: 2.3.3
    Kernel: 2.6.35.7 ch-kernal07@CKDEV02 #76
    Build: GRI40

    InfoTMIC 0.6.3.1
Problem is, that there is no Android Market installed and none of the different available apks worked.

I tried to root it but nothing worked. Gingerbreak does not work. It is trying and trying for hours but without success. There is no "Development"-Menu for activation USB-Debugg - but I installed a USB-Debugg-App for activatiing it.

It seems that the device has a different bootloader. When accessing the recovery mode by pressing "home" - "back" - and "power" it automatically starts loading a recovery image without having a chance to choose custom files.

Any ideas how to root this device?

Unfortunately not. This Kernel seems to be resistant to all know rooting apps. And since I can't with custom rom because of the different bootloader I don't know how this should be possible.
