About LinkBacksMy ZT 180 arrived, it booted (with very low battery). Touch screen, and all worked, even connected to my wifi. Powered off to charge, came back and all lights seemed off. Now I notice that the red light blinks slowly and the adaptor makes a clicking noise, but it doesn't charge and hence won't boot.
Is it the charger or the tablet do you think? What is the power spec on the charger? Mine says 9V 2000ma.

My Guess would be the adapter which is at least the easiest to try replacing... the charger is 9volts 2amps and I just checked mine plugged into wall but unplugged from tablet with a meter and it seems to be a regulated 9.35volts...

Thanks. I think the same, but I can't find another adapter in the house which matches. I am speaking to the seller now to see what they think, but I really don't want to ship this back. Everything I had tested worked, including wifi before the battery died.
That and universal adapters are kinda costly.

Generic devices ship with crappy chargers. From reading about this device though, that's just the start of your worries...

Ya, I know it was a risk. I have heard good and bad on this device. Got it from Eternal on Aliexpress, and they were good with my rockchip.

Bought the universal adapter and it is running and charging again.
