    Have you tried the modified version of Update.zip "its made for clockwork recovery", i had a similar issue and this fixed it....

    How to disable annoying ads ?

    just turn off your wifi when playing games and thoose adds will not come up. i do that and it works fine.

    go to wireless & networks --> click the menu button on the right side and goto advanced. Once you are in advanced you will see the MAC address.

    you will loose all info/data becasue one of the steps is to run "wipe data/factory reset". just take a back up of your tablet under clockwork mod...
