I tried Mala's ROM and sadly it did not work, I had to reimage with a 2.3_4k image that I downloaded from HAIPAD, if anyone has "bricked" their unit PM me your email and I will send the .ZIP file. The problem I'm having now is even though everything is working properly (finally), my keyboard displays in English but the Shift and Done keys are in Chinese. What do I have to do to get my old keyboard back. Many thanks.

I need a bit of help because i'm a bit lost. I've seen the forums about using clockwork and several others to back pu the roms etc. I installed clockwork but it asks for phone model. Obviously i don't have an android phone but rather the Haipad M701-R. The firmware thats installed on my tablet acts as though my tablet is a phone so I am wondering if maybe the place i recieved it from flashed the wrong rom to it? If this is the case how do I go about fixing this? Also, I tried the HDMI and it did not work. I received no picture on the tv

I can not get my Haipad m701-R to be recognized on Windows 7. I can not find the driver that I need. I am new to the android tablet and really have no idea how to use FWDN. Can you help me or direct me somewhere for the How to for idiots? :)

You responding to my post on using kindle on a Haipad m701....did it work flawlessly after loading the app.?? or did you have to play with it and modify it somehow??
