I worked in the computer industry for 25 years.
Started as a computer operator on RCA 301, Burroughs, IBM Mainframes,
CDC mid sized, PDP 11 mini's, and various others.

Have been a shift supervisor, operations manager, help desk operator,
Level 2 support, IBM Network support, IBM Applications support, and
Applications Support Programmer. Pretty much everything you can
do in the old Mainframe, and MINI computer industry.

Started on home computers with an Atari 800xl, which I then modified.
Have built and supported all kinds of PC's, from before the IBM PC, (when
MS DOS was not the only operating system, nor the best.)

My cell phone (which I only bought in 2014) is not a smart phone.
It's a T-Mobile (Alcatel) SPARQ II feature phone, prepaid. I just need a PHONE!!
It has a REAL keyboard that slides out, and is actually usable, along with an over-the-air FM radio. It could do internet, but on a 2 x 1.5 screen ???.

It only cost 39 bucks, including the sim, and activation. My minutes never
expire, and I only spend about $100 a year for airtime. I don't think it
Android, but no way to tell.

My tablet is a cheap one from Wal-Mart. It's a Next Book (e-fun) Ares 8a.
Android 6, Quad Core, Gen 8 GPU, 1gb system, 16gb storage with a
128gb mSDC , Full function mUSB AND mHDMI.

Main use will be for my music(65g's) and Kindle, and for tv/news when stuck in the waiting room somewhere.

TOTALLY new to Android, touchscreens, and tablets.
