hello and thank you for contacting me i have one question have you tried to plug your ethernet cable in to your router and tablet first before taking those steps. i own the android mid 7 inch tablet with froyo 2.2 and i am having trouble with my wifi connection and the only way i can connect at the moment is through ethernet by doing what i asked in the beginning. i really can't provide any info about static ip and the other things you spoke of but i hope what i said in the beginning works for you so if you changed stuff put it back and just do the connection first.

Hi, could u pls help me? i recently got a tab PC with android 2.2. Since am quite new to this, can u help me with the ethernet connection? I have an ethernet port in my tab PC. I stilll have no idea how to configure it though.
i have already given the IP address, Netmask, DNS address and default router. I am not sure as to if DHCP should be enabled or disabled, or if the Static IP option should be enabled or disabled.
PLs give me a step-by-step procedure about configuring the ethernet.
