how do I customize/update my profile----thanks

I had help in finding the Micro SDHC and the adapter but my netbook cannot download since isn't made for that, np there.
Ok, the other tiny micro is in my android, 8 GB, do I leave that in all the time, remember I am new LOL, but a senior citizen.
About downloading applications, how/where do I go to do that and I know I asked this earlier, I am into Facebook games and Pogo, I have already checked my email. Do I need to set up a google account on my android, using the one I have on my netbook?
I do appreciate all the help this "old" person can get before the 23rd of this month. Am going away and am taking my android with me. BTW, I have a router for this and suppose to have Turbo boost, whatever that suppose to be fast on the internet, truthfully, I see NO difference, oh well.
