    The amount of RAM pertains to the amount of memory a processor has, not to it's speed. The speed rating would be shown as MHz or GHz (1000 MHz = 1 GHz).

    BUT, if you in fact have only 256MB of RAM, that may make your tablet pretty slow. ;) The standard for Android for most tablets is 1000MB = 1GB
