I just bought this tablet from ebay and cant get it working it is a 4GB MID 80006 806 WM8650 Google Android 8" touchscreen Tablet PC Touchpad. see specifications below. when it was working it was running Andriod OS 2.2 Kernel 2.6.32 Build number 1.5.5 does anyone know where i can find factory firmware or any firmware that will get this thing working.

Yes maybe it will fix it. You can download the android market firmware on this website:EKEN Support Tablet PC,Car Video Recorder, and then the first firmware.

Or if the app market still doesn't work, there are alternatives on this page:

Thank you! it worked almost perfectly. only problem i had was the touch screen was not working but i was able to hook up a mouse and navigate to the touch screen calibration and its good to go! Now if i can just figure out how to get the "real" Market app. thanks again!

I'm in the U.S. and I tried the patch. I downloaded the patch on MS and unzipped it. Then transferred the data to the micro sd card. Followed line by line the instructions, it won't install on the tablet. So far no luck with any downloads. I do have the market software in the tablet but all attempts to download apps have been unsuccessful. When I go to the Android Market online and attempt a download it says that there is no phone device available. Any other Ideas?

Matt, Matt, Matt, you have done it again! Thanks, the out of the U.S. alternatives load with no problem! The choices are limited but at least it works! For example the yahoo mobile is from India and you can't change the country for the local info. It's quite functional though. I will continue to try the patch as well. I'm not sure that I was able to unzip the RAR file.

m1tch11. Since my tablet use the same OS that this user i followed your instructions and it was able to start again; with the little difference that my tablet is 7" therefore the screen size doesn't show right, it appears bigger.

Can you please tell me were can I find the proper firmware for it??? I liked that OS but i don´t know were else to look.

I have a wonder media mw8650 and I want to improve it, it won't let me download a media player can only go to youtube and watch videos and I've tried downloading a fireware but it won't let me do it,please someone help me.
