7042 - How to set up the Calendar?

So I have a new 7042 and when I tried to use the calendar, it says I need to add an Exchange Account. What is an exchange account?

I figured I could sync with Google Calendar, since I have set up the email app to sync with my gmail account.

When I try to set up the calendar, it asks for an email address and password, so I used my gmail. But then it asks for:
Domain\Username
Server
Use Secure Connection (SSL) checkbox
Accept all SSL certificates checkbox

What do I do here? I can't find any information at Google. Or is this some other exchange specific to the Kyros?

Exchange refers to Microsoft Exchange. Microsoft Exchange is a business-oriented email solution, with its own server to synchronize emails and calendar information. To synchronize with a Google account requires the Google apps to be installed. So root your device and from there, install the Google apps. Once that's done you'll be able to sync your Google calendar and the calendar on the tablet.
