8042 Frozen

I have a kyros MID8042 it is frozen on the start up screen help

Saying it's frozen doesn't help much, thus we need to know more. Things such as whether this tablet is rooted, what you were doing just before this happened, whether you waited long enough for the tablet to boot, and so on. We're not mind readers here.

It's frozen at the Coby start up logo I assume...Do this Patty....Hold the power button until the tablets shuts off...Release it...Press the power button,and the Coby logo will come on..When see you that...Quickly press and hold menu....You should see a screen come up with an Android screen with him laying on his back...Release menu..and press menu once...That will give you a screen with some options..Use your Volume + and - keys to scroll up and down...Select wipe data/factory reset and push the power button...Then that should wipe it...and then select reboot....Keep in mind...it will reset it back to factory...But it will be fixed....Hope that helps...
