starts today. Just picked up a GT 2 7.0 @ CostCo. Will likely return the Vizio Vtab1008 (still have 2 weeks) but I want to use them side-by-side for a while to convince myself there's no reason to miss the Vtab.

Good Luck. Love the tablet. I just got myself last week. however I am having a really hard time donwloading my personaL EMAIL from verizon.net.
By any chance do you have any recommendations?

Sorry, no. I don't use Verizon email.

Soon after I purchased the tablet, I got a Galaxy Nexus phone from work. I really like the phone and find the stock typing algorithm is miles better than the one on the tablet. I wonder if there's any way to put it on the tablet...? Both the phone and tab run ICS.

I assume that your mail is on Verizon.net, if so and you are using POP mail use incoming.verizon.net for the pop serverand port 995. It also requires SSL.
