I have a couple of questions about doing things in Android that I've been trying to figure out for a while now.

#1. How do you take a Screen Shot & Save It?

#2. Is there if any preferably Free or Trail Versions of a "GOOD" PaintShop type program like Gimp or something of the sort?
Even one as simple as as Windows Paint?

I from time to time like to make or if I find one on the web alter for my own personal use graphics for backgrounds.
And it would be so much easier if I could just do it on my tablet as opposed to firing up my laptop all the time.

    Again Thanks: Ricky

Hi WasteLandSavage. To take a screenshot with the Lenovo A2109, Press volume down and power at the same time for 3 seconds (Android 4.0 and up). For the Acer Iconia A500 it's the same (Android 4.3 and up)
Check out Google Play for a Paintshop style program, there's a few to chose from here:- https://play.google.com/store/search?q=paintshop+

    Good luck!

So where does that screen shot end up? I took one and now I can't find it.

Should be in Gallery, or whatever Photo app you have installed, listed as Screenshot.

I figured it out. Power button first, by a slight margin; I wasn't getting the shot.
