Acer 500 appears stalled during 3.2 update

Good morning. Can anyone please tell me how long it can take for my Acer tab to complete updatel from 3.01 to 3.2 ?

It has been a few hours already.

It can take several hours to download and install. Are you sure the download is complete (100%)? I had to repeat the download several times before I got an image that could be installed. One thing I found is that the download may stall if the tablet goes to 'sleep'. Set the screen to never sleep during the download. It also may be important to have RAM clean (power off & on just before the download).

thanks' will give it another shot. Held the power button in until it restarted and all is ok. Will try the update again.

Fyi. all done. Downloaded in ten minutes and installed in eight. tks again. Ciao ::
