Acer A500 tab how do I clear the screen of apps?

Hello, I have an Acer A500 Tab and I made the mistake of placing the clock on my screen. The clock showed up about 3 times the size of what It looked like and I can not remove it. Can someone please help me?

Long press on the clock and a trashcan should appear. Drag & drop the clock into it.

Also, if you click on "Apps" in the upper right had corner it should bring up a list of the ones you have downloaded. If you hold down the app an option will pop up for you to uninstall it.
