Am I screwed or not?

My sister received a Coby Kyros MID7034. She was constantly complaining about the tablet not having the games she wanted. So I installed the playstore. But then the playstore was missing lots of apps, so I decided to edit the build.prop to change the tablet id and such. When I rebooted, Android failed to boot, and for some reason, the recovery is not booting either (Stays on the Coby screen). I will let my sister borrow my Nook Color until I can fix it, if it is fixable. Soo... Can I fix it?

Not if you can't get into the recovery.

Try with the reset button on the side of the tablet ,that always works for me

It won't hurt to try the reset button, but it very likely will not help here. What did you use to edit build.prop?
