AT&T has just launched a new app for subscribers of its U-verse TV service, allowing a landmark way for users to connect with customer service and manage everything they need to do to keep their account as up-to-date as possible.
As you might expect, the app has all essential automated information at your fingertips - current service status, step-by-step guides and troubleshooting prompts, and the ability to restart your receiver.
But it also lets you chat with a customer service rep directly within the app, making it literally a one-stop shop for everything other than billing services. U-verse has pioneered several mobile initiatives, including letting users watch live TV on-the-go from their smartphone or tablet.
The new customer service app is available now for Android and Blackberry, and is coming soon for iOS.
