android app market without rooting

Is anyone developing a way to access the android app market without rooting --- or is that technically impossible??

I've heard you can sideload apps without rooting. Try that and let us know.

You can sideload without rooting, although you have to enable Unknown Sources in Settings->Applications

I'm very green, where in app set up do I find where I can enable unknown sources?
