android market not working

PLEASE help I have a tablet PC MID- Android and when I tap on the market app it comes up retry. I have tried clearing the app and restoring tablet to factory settings and its still not working

Welcome to the forum
A factory reset would normally correct something like that but that's pretty extreme. Your description makes it sound like you don't have a good Internet connection or at least for some reason the Google Store can't communivccate. Is it a paper bag icon? I ask because there is no Google Market any ore, it's the Google Play Store.
