We have yet again another market analysis showing the explosive growth and dominance of the unstoppable Android. Gartner's Q1 2011 analysis shows Android with over 36 Million Units sold and a 36% global market share. This is compared to Symbian in second place with 27 Million and 27.4%, and iOS with 16.8 Million and 16.8%. RIM, Microsoft and HP round out the bottom. To put it in perspective, if you compare 'Andy's' same results at this time last year, he jumped 26 percentage points at an almost 600% growth rate!

HP's webOS was relegated to the "Other" category.

:)

Idiots for not going Android on their tablet. That's about as bad a move as Nokia opting out putting Android on their devices and instead going with Windows 7.

Ugh, don't remind me of my N810, please. It was PAINFUL.
In retrospect it was like if you took all the fun out of Android and then shoved a stick in it's butt. Sorry Maemo, but you have little charisma for as groundbreaking as you were.

My second Android tablet is on the way after having sold off my first one to help pay for it.
Glad to be a part of something that's also the most fun I've had since the heyday of PalmOS.
