I was just playing with a friends Android 1.6 from ebay about 6months ago.(can't find brand, type or specs).
The screen is not very responsive and the unit is soooooo sloooow.. Couldn't quite get the the screen to repond unless is tapped it just so with my finger.....
I was watching my grand-daughter playing with her Nintendo Wii DSI, which is over 1 year old - and it is so fast and extremely responsive to both finger, nail, stylus etc.
And my daughter's IPhone clone is fast and responsive.
So, my question is - Have the Androids - Haipad, Archos improved any.

Yes. You get what you pay for. That particular model has a poor touchscreen and CPU.
