An SSID is also referred to as a network name because essentially it is a name that identifies a wireless network.

Do yo have a router? the Key or password ought to be printed on it somewhere.

Hello BOKA, congratulations on your new tablet and welcome to the forum. I'm moving your thread to the Android Tablet Q&A section for you, where more people are likely to join the discussion and try to help you. Good luck!

The SSID is the name of the network you want to connect to. There should be a list of networks on your screen when you're trying to connect. Enter the name of your network in the place where it's asking for the SSID. Your tablet will then try to connect to that network. The SSID is assigned by the person who set up your router. If that's not you, you have to get the SSID for your network from whoever set it up for you.
