I bought a flytouch mainly for the GPS because it was the only Tablet I saw with not only GPS but it had an Antenna also..Well that that Flytouch is no good anymore SO I now realize you get what you pay for ,so was wondering ..Is there another Tablet out there without breaking the bank with GPS? I would like to find one that works without the WiFi like the Flytouch does..

Sure enough, Vizio Vtab 1008. 8 inch screen, new units going for less than 200.00. Look around at some of my posts, I recently posted some info, links etc on this tablet.
I love mine, the first time you run the GPS it might take up to ten min to get a GPS lock because it does a bunch of updates etc. Once it has its updates and found your location, GPS lock only takes mine about a min. Not as fast as a cell phone but it does GPS as a stand alone unit. You might also try downloading Navagon, it has all the maps and stuff for your trips, you'll need a large microSD card to store everything.
